What happens next if I’m the winning bidder?

You will be approached by a member of the auctions team, who will inform you via email for further details and for arranging the shipping of the artwork with the artist.

What is a Reserve Price and how does it work?

A reserve price is a minimum amount the seller is willing to sell an item for. If the reserve price isn’t met, the item won’t be sold.
The amount of the reserve price is not disclosed to the bidders, but you will be able to see if an auction has a reserve price and whether or not the reserve has been met.

What payment methods can I use?

Where does the money raised go?

  • All proceeds will be donated to the Turkish Ministry of Interior’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), which works to prevent disasters and minimise disaster-related damages, as well as plan and coordinate post-disaster responses.
  • Yunus Emre Institute London will donate the proceeds from the auctions directly to AFAD.

How does shipping work?

  • The buyer is responsible for paying for packaging and the shipping costs and any extra export charges for the delivery of the purchased item.
  • The delivery time and cost may vary depending on where you live.
